Dr. Jennifer M. Santiago, DNP, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C

Dr. Santiago is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2018. She is licensed through the state of Connecticut as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Dr. Santiago takes great pride in assisting patients with mental health and weight loss concerns. She has vast knowledge in latest treatments options and works with each patient so their treatment fits their needs. Dr. Santiago also works with the US Military Veterans in obtaining their disability benefits by making medical connections to their injuries called a ‘nexus.’ Dr. Santiago also is dedicated to helping those involved in personal injury claims in Connecticut by providing independent medical case reviews for their legal teams.

Dr. Santiago is a member of a military family and a wife of a disabled US Army Veteran. She has experienced the challenges of denials and appeals for Veteran disability benefits. Additionally, she has a vast understanding of personal injury medical cases and the skill it takes to make medical connections to those injuries as well.

Dr. Santiago has earned degrees from several top rated schools on the East Coast. She received her diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2003 from Technical Education Center Osceola; an Associate of Science in Nursing degree in 2009 from Polk State College; an Associate of Arts degree in 2013 from Valencia College; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Summa Cum Laude in 2015 from Southern New Hampshire University; a Master of Science in Nursing with Honors in 2017 from South University; and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with High Honors in 2023 from South University.

In her free time, Dr. Santiago enjoys writing educational literature and is the co-author of the book, The Intricate Dance: Women’s Health and Mental Wellbeing. Additionally, she spends most of her time with her loving husband, daughter, two bonus children, and their dog Lady Bug. She is learning Spanish, practices Pilates and meditation, enjoys reading, and a walk in the fresh outside air.
